The villas were a very short walk from a beautiful beach and hiking trails. The abundance of wildlife was amazing. Kookaburras, beautiful parrots, dolphins, baby ducks, rabbits and kangaroos. The kangaroos were awesome. Very tame but they were not fed by humans (unlike the ones within the wildlife parks). A couple of times they were even right outside our door.

The weather was perfect and we enjoyed daily hikes along the coastline to a beautiful picnic spot - a rock ledge right on the ocean's edge.

We spent over an hour there one day just letting Ella throw seashells into a rock pool. She had an absolute blast throwing the shells, retrieving the ones she could reach and directing us to get more for her when she was done. What a joy having a child who loves the outdoors so much.

34 weeks pregnant . . .

One of Ella's most recent favorite books. Reading on the drive home . . .

We're so thankful for this time of renewal!
